Nutritional Information



The English Coleslaw Company is passionate about using the best all natural ingredients.  We hope that in doing this we make something that is reasonably good for you as well as tasting great.  So first and foremost:-


- There are no nasties in our products.  Nothing artificial and no chemicals that are only there to extend shelf life.

- We can name all the ingredients in our Coleslaws, and all of those ingredients are things you can find in a normal kitchen.  If we dont know what it is ourselves, we wont use it

- We don’t use lots of Mayonnaise.  Mayonnaise is high in fat and many producers don’t use free range eggs.  Our Mayonnaise is Free Range but we use about 1/3 of what you will find typically in other products


A combination of these things and some other factors mean that our products have a pretty good nutritional profile.  Here is the nutritional break down of our Traditional Coleslaw as one example:-

Protein – 1.5 grams

Fat – 4.9 grams

of which Saturated Fat - 0.5 grams

Carbohydrate – 8.1 grams

of which Sugars – 7.6 grams

Dietary Fibre – 1.7 grams

Our products are LOW IN SATURATED FAT, LOW IN SALT, and full of vegetables, providing TWO PORTIONS of your 5 A DAY.
